We love this toaster so much already. It gets the job done amazingly and doesn’t take up a lot of space like your normal typical toaster. It’s also very aesthetically pleasing!!!

Love the slim design and the counter space it gives me. But very disappointed in the toasting performance. I toasted at a medium and it toasts great but burns all around the edge. If they could fix this problem, and make it bagel friendly this would be a perfect toaster! Sending it back regretfully.

Love the slimness of the toaster. Won't fit all two slices of bread but work for what I need. The outside cover is plastic though which I don't love. Wish it where metal. Feels a bit cheap

I ordered this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas so she could put my homemade sourdough slices in it without cutting in half first. It worked a few times but after a few uses, the knob that pushes down would not stay down. I have this same item at my house and it works nicely. It may have just been a rare case.

Great, fits perfectly in my space and free up a bit of counter space. The only thing it doesn’t have is like reheat, frozen, etc options like my previous wider toaster but it heats up very quick and fits a variety of bread sizes from loaf to sliced sour dough. I love this toaster. I was having a hard time finding one with longer slots for bigger bread slices so I was very happy to find this one. It also has a matte finish so “no finger prints”. It matches nicely with my countertops so that’s another positive note.

This fits on my counter very nicely. It’s good looking and is about the same size as my old two slice toaster. When I just toast two slices, it tends to brown one corner more than the opposite corner. Other than that, it is great. I like that I can easily toast a bagel or an extra large slice

I use a toaster for it's basic purpose which is to quickly and evenly toast my bread. This unit does that nicely, and the elements heat up fairly quickly. I don't need all the electronic gadgetry offered on some toasters, I guess they should all start having blue tooth or something. Anyhow, so far it's a great toaster, nice size format, very happy with it so far.

I love the slim design of this toaster and it looks so sleek on my counter. I have contemporary decor and this fits in perfectly. Takes up next to no space in both my kitchen and pantry, works well and is just as described. Quite the conversation piece too.

Toasting accuracy is inconsistent, and the heat level feels too low. I often have to turn the dial to the highest setting and run the toast cycle twice just to achieve a moderate level of browning. The slots also aren’t quite deep enough, so in addition to double-toasting, I have to flip the bread to ensure the top gets properly toasted. The toaster earns its third star solely for its compact design and appealing color.

I really wanted to give this toaster five stars, because it's attractive, it fits on my narrow countertop in much less space than the previous standard two-slice toaster, and the slot is wide enough to accommodate English muffins and the thick slices from my home baked bread. But it does have one odd issue--the heating grid doesn't extend the whole distance of the slot, so if you try to toast two slices at one time, both of them will have a narrow untoasted section. With just one slice, you can move the bread over to where it's fully covered by the heat, but you can't do that with two slices at once. Once of the reasons that's really aggravating is that I bought this to replace a toaster whose inner grid had stopped working, so you had to turn the slices of bread over and toast them again to get both sides, and now I have one where I can still properly toast only one slice at a time. Except for that, I love it.

This is the best Toaster I have ever used. Great consistency. I cannot imagine a toaster better than this. No nonsense controls. No fancy lights or touch controls. Just great results.

This toaster takes up hardly any space at all. Was exactly what I was looking for to replace a bigger toaster. I do usually make 4 slices of toast so I have to use it twice in a row, I would recommend turning the dial down for the second use so you don’t burn your toast.

This is such a great little toaster! It toasts pretty evenly, sometimes I need to rotate my bagels to make sure the whole thing is toasted evenly. It's a slim toaster that takes up less room width wise, a little more length wise though. I like the design. I love it, it's perfect for my needs!

Bought this for RV and thinking about getting one for the house now. Love it. Works great. Toast, Bagels, everything works and fits but yet its slim and looks classy on the counter. Doesn't feel cheap. Will definitely recommend.

This is my second one; the first quit working, but customer support was great and refunded me. The toaster is not the best, but I love the size, since I have little counter space. It does the job, but if they added a bagel button, it would be better! I knew what I was getting, so I'm satisfied.

I was a little skeptical when I bought it thinking that it’s all gonna be just for looks pretty color, etc. But this toaster toast evenly. I am so impressed. I also like the adjustability of how dark you wanted and how late you want it, but I give it five out of five stars.

The slots are wide and long. Works great for fresh made bread like sour dough where the slices/loafs are wide. For regular size slices/loafs, it will fit 4 slices (2 in each slot). Looks like the width could handle bagel slices, but we don't eat bagels so not positive on that. Slots narrow and grab the slices when pushed down and open when popped up. Cooks both sides evenly. We're very happy with this toaster.

Cute toaster and love that you can do 4 slices. I wish that you could choose to do only one side though if not doing 4 slices. It was a little longer then I expected as well.

I agree with the other poor reviews. This device emits a horrible plastic burning smell VOCs. No matter how many times you use it the smell stays. It also doesn’t go down evenly, the back section of the toaster stays up while the front goes down. So only room for one piece of bread. This thing also gets insanely hot. Like way too hot to the point I was very concerned. It burnt my toast. And unevenly toasts bagels as the tray doesn’t go down evenly bagels or big pieces of bread stick out the top.

This takes up very little counter space and doesn't stand out like the metal boxes. The decorator colors and cool to the touch exterior are a modern upgrade to my countertop!

I usually don’t give bad reviews but this bothered my lungs so much it should come with a warning.
I bought this because it was slim and it fit my small kitchen. It is very cute and fits well but that’s about it. Right after using it to toast some bread I saw some smoke. I figured it was because it was the first time it was being used, similar to a heater that has never been used before, but then there was a burnt plastic smell that just lingered by the top of the ceiling.
I put the fan on. I opened up my windows and two hours later it still lingers. This is scary to me because no appliance should smell toxic .
The smell was so bad it was hurting my lungs. I do not recommend this appliance no matter how cute it looks.

It works well but it really is "slim"... Can't fit a normal bagel or anything. Teen daughter asked if the toaster was on ozempic.
But I love how much space it saves on the counter.

I purchased this toaster for wider breads that I have been buying lately for my blood sugar. Seedless Pumpernickel rye bread. I was having to squeeze in the wider bread to be toasted. Wanted a toaster to toast wider sized breads, and this one fits the bill. Wished that it was a couple of inches wider, where you could toast two slices at one time. This toaster is narrower than a regular toaster.

I love this little toaster! for years I’ve always wanted toast but hated how cumbersome traditional toasters are. I have started recently living on my own I knew I wanted a new toaster. I saw this one and so far it has exceeded my expectations! This is the perfect little toaster if you only make one or two pieces for yourself. I also love that it has a cancel button. The power cord can also wind up on the bottom of the toaster when it is not in use. Exactly what I needed!

This toaster works really well. Even though it's compact you can still fit two thick pieces of bread, a bagel, English muffin, etc. It toasts whatever you put in it evenly and effectively every time and it does it quickly.

I thought it would be slimmer but it's ok. It's the same size as my old two-slice toaster only longer. It fits in the same place as my old toaster. I bought this one so I could toast slices from my large sourdough loaves. It does the job. I also like the defrost feature because I freeze my bread. Sourdough takes a while to toast and I still have to add time to the max setting. I absolutely love the color (mint green), especially after having the ugly chrome and black one. This one cleans up well and looks new after use. Although I don't often toast bagels, it's nice to have that feature as well. I had hoped the power cord would be longer, but nope, it's just as short as my old one. Not a game changer though. But seriously, even an extra foot would be nice. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. I don't think it's overpriced and the variety of colors is a nice change from traditional toasters.

You have to keep an eye on your bread because it toasts unevenly and one section can be burnt and the other section fine.

So far so good, have used it about a dozen times since I got it. Bagels and toast are both browning evenly. I got this style mainly for long Italian bread, instead of the old way of flipping it upside down to get both ends in a regular toaster! Haven’t bought any long bread yet, but I’m sure it will fit. I got the oatmilk color to blend in more with my white countertop and backsplash. I actually like this color better than stark white, it has a soft warm tone and doesn’t make everything look so white on white on white. Much better than the standard steely silver toned toasters, this just sort of disappears into the background rather than looking like a big boxy appliance.

Poor quality control. The toaster itself is nice; however, half of the heating element wires are not sticking through the insulating pad, resulting in very uneven toasting. I am hoping that this was just a one-off manufacturing issue and have requested a replacement.

This toaster is super cute, love the pink color, and it’s the perfect size for a small apartment. It doesn’t take up much counter space, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, it heats very unevenly. No matter where I place the bread, one side or section ends up much darker than the other, and it’s almost impossible to toast it properly without one side getting burnt. It works, but it can definitely be frustrating if you want evenly toasted bread. Cord length is long enough and easy to use!

This arrived fast and well packaged. It is slim and fits perfect in a smaller kitchen next to the microwave but it's opening for the bread is actually really wide, definitely better than your standard toaster when it comes to things like texas toast or a bagel. I also love the color and it does look much better than a typical silver toaster on the counter. That said, the outside is made of a hard plastic so if it ever did malfunction, it more likely to melt than a standard metal toaster. Overall it is well made, works well, and is easy to use. Great value and a good option for smaller kitchens.

Quality and worth buying again. Baught 2 as we have to separate toasting wheat products from non wheat products for healt reasons. So it makes since. Two take up the same amount of space that one dual toaster woule normally take up and works great to separate and not contaminate the other one which for us is very important.

Overall it performs the job. However the casing was bulging at the bottom separated from the base they use proprietary screws so of course I can't fix it. The shape actually makes it more difficult for me personally to store reasonably on the counter so it ends up in the cupboard just like the old toaster ahead overall it was inexpensive and operates so my only issue is cosmetics

I am so obsessed with this toaster! It is so thin and takes up little space on the counter top. It is longer than I thought it was going to be but I am not complaining. It fits two pieces of bread, two pop tarts, two of everything. I love the color and it is easy to use. It toasts everything perfectly.

Works great. Just have to learn how to adjust it to your liking. 3 and up will burn toast, start out at 1. Bagels dont come out as crunchy as a bagel button would. But A great space saver, you can keep it on the counter as it dosen't take up much space

I picked this toaster as I quite possibly have the smallest apartment kitchen ever, lol. It was also affordable with good reviews, and would ship the next day, so I bought it and I’m glad I did!

I was worried that a long sourdough slice wouldn’t fit, but I was happy to find out it fits two slices of bread in one row vs. side by side.

It’s super thin, and I have it placed right in between my fridge & espresso machine. The cord tucks nicely behind the toaster. It uses very straightforward mechanisms—only a numbered dial and cancel button (I used setting 2 for the photo). It toasts evenly and pretty quickly!

Absolutely would recommend, especially for this low of a price.

I love the design of the slim toaster and it’s very aesthetically pleasing! The heating levels seem to be inconsistent. It is pretty slow at toasting compared to past toasters we’ve had. But when I drop the level down to 1 and toast a second time to get some color on my bread it burns it behind recognition. This has happened with sandwich bread, English muffins, and bagels. So I think it’s a toaster issue and I haven’t been able to figure out the magic combination of the two temperatures to run my food through!
Pro: slim storage or pretty in plain view
Con: inconsistent heating.

This is such a sleek and well made toaster. We finally got rid of our giant toaster and wanted something slim and modern, this was a perfect choice. I love the color and the fact that it wipes off easily. I can still fit 2 pieces of normal size toast or one piece of long sourdough. One thing that I would change is sometimes a taller bread doesn’t make it all the way down into the toaster when toasting but it doesn’t bother me enough. I love this toaster!

I love this slim toaster. It fits in the space designated on my countertop and the color matches the scheme. It works well, and I found 2 is my magic number for golden brown perfectly toasted bread. It’s worth the price and a great value.

I love it! Because it is slim, I can push it towards the wall and I still have the entire counter to prep my meal. It toasts well even on lower settings which is a plus I usually use it to toast gluten free whole grain bread. I like that it has only two buttons and has a neutral, but nice color.

This is a great toaster. It looks really nice, and comes in wonderful colors. It’s very slim, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter. It toasts real well, and my favorite part is that you can toast large slices in this toaster. You don’t have to cut them in half like you would with other toaster’s. It also doesn’t get too hot on the outside, so you can touch it while it is toasting.

I've given up finding a toaster that will toast a whole slice evenly. This one doesn't either, but it's fast and easy, and if I put it on a low setting and toast it twice (turning the toast around between times) it does pretty good. I do love it's very narrow profile on the counter.

Great for small spaces! We are in a class A motorhome and the slim shape still allows counter space. Toasts great & evenly. Used on bread as well as bagels & cibatta rolls. It was nice to find a color besides white, black grey or stainless. Matches the tans and browns well.

Very cute and useful. Takes up much less space than a traditional toaster. It can toast bagels (pre-sliced) or thin bread. The ONLY issue is that 2 pieces of wide pan bread won’t fit. I’ve turned them vertically and flipped them around for another cycle.

I've been mostly satisfied with this product. My only caveat is that it claims to accommodate thicker items like bagels – and I did have one recent incident where I was toasting hamburger buns (which, mind you, aren't very bulky because I buy the very cheap basic white bread ones from the store) and they did get stuck. Which I found strange because I have done bagels several times without issue.

Overall, it is worth the money and especially great if you live in a place like I do where I have barely any countertop space - let alone outlets.

Color matches great with my kitchen aid mixer (milkshake color) .. if bread it a lil too long for two slices I overlay them a bit and they still toast great. For years I avoided getting a toaster for the amount of space it takes up. I’ve been so happy with my purchase.

I just had to toss my Breville toaster after many years and didn't want to invest that much money in a toaster again - I really only need it to toast English muffins, so I opted to purchase this slim toaster to "blend in" in my kitchen. It's a great toaster! It is easy to clean, light weight and toasts evenly (better than the Breville) for a lot less. It looks great in my kitchen and doesn't stand out or take up much space. It’s really slim. That’s great for placement. But I’m nervous with it being such a thin plastic like material. I’ve used it once and will have to figure out the best number for my toasting preference. It’s also very light so I wouldn’t advise young children to use alone.

I really like the slim design of this toaster and for toast has been great. I am still trying to learn where to set it for bagels or muffins as you have to set it higher for bagels or muffins. I will get it down though. Things take time for me.

Very light/hard plastic but I like the slim look and the color. Toasts a bit unevenly - bottom is less toasted than the sides and top, but I'm not picky and it doesn't bother me. For the price, it's fine if it lasts.

Unless you absolutely need a toaster with 2 very long slots, this is the perfect buy! It has one long slot that easily fits the two sides of a bagel or two pieces of standard bread or one long piece of bread. Toasts evenly and has several settings that are easy to choose with a simple dial on the side (I am still experiementing with the settings to see which work best for me). It has a cancel button (also on the side) which is a must for any toaster! Love the size and how much space I save on my counter with only having one slot! The outside (except on top) stays cool while toasting which, I think, is a great safety feature. The color goes well with my kitchen. I would give the toater 5 stars, except for two minor issues: the cord is very stiff and hard to control and; the toater seems a bit tin like and not as sturdy as some others. Overall, VERY HAPPY with my purchase and would recommend for self or as a gift.

It does the job, has 6 settings, and i like how slim it is so it’s very compact and fits into any cabinet for storage. i just wished it was made from a different material, the plastic seems a bit too cheap looking. But overall it’s a good toaster

Toasts both sides nicely whereas my expensive toaster did not. Cord length ok, but cord itself super stiff and hard to work to hide. Crumb tray is as noted by other reviewers: in an awkward position, making it a “job” to pull out & clean. Should be given more thought as fairly useless. LOVE the slimness and the even toasting. For the price, does a better job than more pricey ones I’ve had. Would buy again.

Replaced a clunky 4 slicer with this beautiful model. Never knew before about such a design. The efficient shape enabled me to put my other appliances on the same drawer shelf. More efficient use of space in a small kitchen and pretty enough to stand on the counter when I need it.
Haven’t used it yet, but made my decision based on all the excellent reviews.

The toaster looks great and takes up very little space but if you have Texas toast sized bread slices, it definitely misses an entire side as it's not big enough.

Actually this toaster is great, it does not take up space, it has good heat levels, they are two places for bread and its outer material is easy to clean in addition to having a removable base to remove the residues from the bottom. Super recommended. It fits close to the wall on my counter so it doesn’t take up much space, and looks very nice. It matches my off white wall paint so it blends in nicely and doesn’t show very much which is what I wanted, It toasts quickly and evenly. It’s just what I was looking for. The outside does not get hot while it is toasting so you don’t have to worry about accidentally melting your plastic bread wrapper. I don’t see a reheat button on it, but it does have a slide out tray for any crumbs that may get inside. It will fit bagels, but not anything thicker than that.

We bought this toaster on Feb 8, 2025 and it’s now December 6, 2025. We have 2 small kids so we use it most mornings, but for the past month+ the press down lever won’t lock consistently to the point that it doesn’t hardly work at all anymore.

Prior to this we had one from ocean state job lot that lasted for almost 10years. $25 for 10 months isn’t necessarily a bad investment, but it’s worth mentioning that ours didn’t last a full year.

I already love it. I got the 4 Slice one, and it is as long as my crockpot, but it will fit the area I want it to be in. The slots are long enough for homemade round loaf slices! It's very nice!

I bought this toaster on October 27 and it is now December 4, and it will not stay in the down position and therefore it will not toast. I love the slimness of it and it made great toast. On top of all that it is so pretty to have on your countertop. So with all that said, I’m going to take a chance and buy it again, hoping that it was just a fluke that it broke and not that the quality is poor. I forgot to say that I missed the return window and I can’t exchange it, so I must repurchase it.

Love the toaster size and slot width, since I tend to toast sourdough bread a lot. The only Issue I have with it is that the crumb tray does not work very well, as there are always crumbs on the counter after use! Not a show stopper, just a minor annoyance.

Love the size of the toaster and color for my kitchen counter. However...........the toast, just a normal size slice purchased from the grocery story, doesn't go all the way down in the toaster when the tab is depressed. So, about halfway thru, you have to pop up the toast and turn it upside down and re-toast. That was very disappointing. Probably works fine for English muffins or smaller pieces of bread.

I loved this toaster for the size and color, so I bought 3 other Bella products in the same color. I was very disappointed when I realized the color is slightly different on the toaster, verse the other 3 appliances I bought. I love them and the color, but the slight color difference is driving me nuts. Other wise an awesome product and perfect for saving space.

The outer housing of the toaster is plastic. I didn’t realize this until I received it but it does make the toaster look cheap. I sent the first one back because about a third of the heating elements didn’t work. but my second one is the same way which makes it toast the bread unevenly. It’s a cheap toaster so you get what you pay for. the chord also made a loud crackling sound when unwrapping it which sounds like the insulation was brittle

What can you say about a toaster? Usually not much but this toaster is different.
I really appreciate the long slot for the bread. I can get two slices of regular bread in at one time. Or one long slice, lice rye or long Italian bread Inter. I have actually toasted small hero rolls in it and it works perfectly.
Another good thing is that it toasts consistently. Whatever you set it for that’s how I comes out. I love the streamlined design. It can stay on your counter without taking up too much room or fits in a cabinet and not take up too much room.
The easy of cleaning the crumb tray is wonderful. You just slide it out, shake off the crumbs, give it a wipe with a damp paper towel and it’s clean. Just put it back in the slot and you’re ready to go. No more shaking the toaster or fussing with the tray that doesn’t come out.
I haven’t played with the different settings. I keep on medium as that’s how I like my toast.
Was it worth the money? I’ll say. Every. Single. Penny.

This is a very stylish, well design-engineered toaster. Perfectly slim for a crowded kitchen countertop. This drops to a 4 rating for two reasons. (1) the knob is counter intuitive. You have to turn it counter-clockwise to reach the maximum browning level. At maximum it completely burns the toast to a black crisp. (2) The toast does not brown evenly.

No bagel setting which should be standard on any toaster, especially one that mentions the word bagel multiple times on it's product page. Toast is uneven, very light at the bottom of the bread. Other than that it is slim as advertised to save space. If you want even toasting or to toast one sided items like bagels get a different toaster.

This is a sliced bread toaster, that's it. No english muffins or bagels.

I bought this toaster to replace an older one that just took up too much counter space. My San Francisco apartment is so tiny! I didn't expect that I would get such superior toast in half the time of my previous toaster. I love my morning bagel and this toasts it to perfection and no sticking in the slot. I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's also cool on.the outside where my old one was not. The only part the gets hot at all is the very top. The lever for pushing up toasted items is a plus as well. It's not necessary for toasted items but It does push it up higher so the hot toasted item is easier to grab. It takes up so little space and easily and perfectly toasts two items at a time. I can't believe the price either it was so affordable compared to my prior toaster. Love the color as well. It matches my new slim Ninja coffee maker. 😊 It's lightweight and easy to move for cleaning all around it.

It's slim, but you're trading width for length to accommodate 2 slices, if it makes sense to you. I bought this because I wanted a slender toaster, I saw this, it came in a color that matched my aesthetic, has a removable crumb tray to clean ... and I was sold. I'm content. I will say that my bagels consistently didn't toast evenly - the bottom toasted more than the top.

I make toast or bagels for my kids at least 5 times a week, and I was so over dragging my big toaster oven in and out just to keep my counters looking clean. This slim toaster is the answer. It’s compact, sleek, and actually looks cute sitting out.. not an eyesore at all.

We keep ours turned horizontally, but it can face vertical too depending on your kitchen setup. I considered the 4-slice version, but this 2-slice fits our space perfectly. After a month of regular use, we love this little thing. Toasts evenly, hides nicely, and keeps my counters looking less chaotic. Win-win.

I purchased the blue/Surf and tried to get a representation of the color in a photo. It's hard to grab the color, but for reference- the wall is white. Also placed a "coffee" blue container next to it to compare the blue.

Love the rearrangement of the slice openings to create the slimness of this toaster. The Shade Control is accurate. But what I really love is how it “disappears” on my counter because of its slimness and especially the color. It just blends seamlessly with my backsplash. Plus, my dog’s name is Bella 🐾♥️🐾

I thought the toaster did not brown enough without cycling bread 3 times. Here the adjustment knob is rotated counter clockwise for a higher setting - first toaster I ever owned that was not clockwise. The icons on the knob were too small for my older eyes to see without glasses. I am raising my star rating from original. I do like the appearance of the toaster, I have limited counter space so the slimness works to my benefit.

I love this toaster.It fits very well in our small kitchen. The light green color is very pretty. We have really no good storage and this fits perfectly. Toast is perfect as well! I highly recommend. Oh, cleaningIt is also simple because it has a slide out bottom. That was one of the things that made me really want this, anything great choice for any kitchen!

It’s such a cute toaster! I needed a slim and simple toaster. We have a larger toaster oven but that takes longer to make a simple toast, so I wanted a secondary toaster to make a toast. The quality seems good for the price. Heat level was consistent when we toasted a slice of bread. There are six toasting settings, which I think plenty. My toast turned out nice and brown with setting 3. My only complaint would be the small feeding. It measures less than two inches, so thicker toast or thick bagel may not fit.

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a slim and simple toaster with decent toasting settings.

What i noticed from the very first use is that the slice of bread farthest from the lever would not go all the way down. The lever is made to depress the entire "shelf" on which the slices rest and doesn't take the "shelf" down evenly. Approx. 1 inch of the slice doesn't go down into the toaster without being shoved manually. Now, that being said, the machine itself is a lovely color and the texture is velvety and easy to clean. Takes up very little space on the counter in my motorhome. Toasting speed and quality are top notch and is simple to set up straight out of the box. Had it not been such a nice product and value, I would return it. The fact that the main purpose is as a TOASTER and the toast slices wont go all the way down, I couldn't see giving more than 3 stars. Have to either just do one slice at a time or pop them up mid-toast and turn them over to toast the top half sticking out unless you want to mush that second slice down.

I loved this toaster, it looks great and worked like a charm. HOWEVER, 3 month into using it the lever stopped working. The lever no longer stays down unless I hold it. So bummed! I will be reaching out to the seller.

Update: The Bella customer service is TERRIBLE. Highly DO NOT recommend.
Like I said, my toaster broke 3 months in (it’s a low quality piece of trash). It’s past the Amazon return date, so I contacted the manufacturer Bella directly. They asked me to send a receipt for when I bought the product. No problem. Sent a few screenshots from my Amazon purchase. They replied saying it wasn’t good enough. So I took screenshots of every possible view of this Amazon purchase and sent them an array of screenshots. They replied saying it STILL wasn’t the information they wanted. So I finally contacted Amazon customer service to ask THEM to somehow get a more detailed itemized receipt of purchase for me for this damn toaster. Amazon IMMEDIATELY offered a refund for the defective toaster. Didn’t even blink an eye. Amazon customer service better than Bella customer service BY FAR.
Highly DO NOT recommend buying from Bella. Cheaply made products with horrible customer service?? Not a brand I’d like to support.

My nice large multi-function toaster oven seemed overkill for one slice of toast, so I searched for a small one-slice toaster but found this Bella instead. It's slim and space saving, although long. The outside is plastic but it doesn't look cheap. The Oatmilk is a lovely pale neutral color. The toaster looks good, just as shown on the product page. It toasts whole wheat bread slices (setting #3) and split English muffins (photo, setting #4) evenly. I've only used it a few times and haven't needed the other settings yet. It can hold a long slice of bread from a round loaf or two regular size slices of bread, etc. I haven't had it long enough to rate durability but so far it is 5 stars.

This is a 900-watt small appliance with a rather short (a little over 2 ft.) cord with a standard 2-prong polarized plug. The cord can store inside the base. The narrow crumb tray easily slides out and removes for cleaning. I ran a few empty cycles at first and there was only a little odor. The plastic doesn't get hot unless you run multiple cycles. This toaster is simple, no frills, and works well. It doesn't have a bagel setting (for toasting only the cut side of a bagel half), but that's no big deal for me.

It came with the standard Amazon 30-day return policy, so if it arrives smashed or defective send it back to Amazon. Mine arrived intact in its own box inside a paper Amazon envelope. The booklet says it also has a 2-year warranty. I like it so far.

There aren't a lot of options for narrow toasters. This one works reasonably well, though it doesn't toast super evenly even for smaller items like english muffins. (However, this is the case for most toasters I've used, regardless of their size, so I hesitate to mark it down much for that.) It is very lightweight, which makes it easy to move around and clean.

A couple of things to be aware of: the feet that hold this toaster off the countertop are at the front and back ends, so whatever you're putting it on has to be deeper than the toaster, or else there will be no air circulation on the bottom (and I imagine there would be a risk of burning the surface). So if you plan to set it on top of a microwave or a shallower cabinet -- the same reasons you'd be looking for a more compact appliance in the first place -- be sure you have enough space front to back, or else buy a tray or something to set under it. I picked up a cafeteria-style tray for this purpose, and the toaster and my narrow Keurig fit well side by side on it.

The cord is the usual annoying extra-short cord you get on kitchen appliances these days. It sort of tucks up under the toaster as they claim, but since there's not really a place for the plug to sit, it'll still be sticking out the side when you've wound up most of the rest of the cord, and will be in the way if you're trying to push this up close next to another appliance or wall for storage.

I'm not sure I would pick this as a main, heavy-duty toaster for my kitchen, but for a coffee nook, bar, dorm, breakroom space, etc., it's fine.

I make my bread at home and the slices are just a bit too large to fit into a regular toaster. I usually have to turn them on their side, toast, then turn the slice around and toast the other side. I've been searching for a toaster that has a longer opening for bread slices and thought this was the perfect fit. But it isn't quite what I had hoped. It would work great for 4 regular slices, but for just two slices of my bread, this toaster is far too big. I did look at the measurements and saw that it said "slim" but sometimes we don't know what we're getting until we see it in real life. I used it a few times to see if I could just get used to it, but no. It is just far too long for the space I have to work with and I just don't like it. As far as the "slim" description goes, it's a bit misleading. It's slim for a 4-slice toaster in that it's the same width as a regular two slice toaster. What it lacks in width for the extra slices, it makes up for in length. The toasting functions work ok, but as others have mentioned, it doesn't really toast evenly. I still had to turn each piece of bread around to get the other side toasted to the same level. I also tried placing my pieces of bread in different areas of the toaster and didn't really see any improvement. In this case it really savese no time compared to what I've already been doing with my current toaster. The color is nice though. I do like the matte purple look. It's a very dark plum and has a nice feel to it as well. Overall, the toaster is ok, nothing to write home about and I feel there are much better options within the same price range that don't take up so much real estate on my counter.

I am so tired of getting defective or low quality stuff and this is no exception. I was just going to put the toaster away when I got it to use another time. Good thing I didn't. Upon getting ready to use it, I found that the toast holders weren't right. One was in the slot, the other isn't. If you press the control down, the holder that's not in it's slot comes together and the other one stays open. Great. A couple other things I noticed, that I would have ignored had it not been defective, are the finish, which is matt plastic in oat milk. It looks dingy and seems like it will stain easily. The second thing is the warning in large bold print: "PLASTICIZER WARNING CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the finish of the counter top or table top or other furniture place NON-PLASTIC coasters of placemats between the appliance and finish of the counter or table. Failure to do so may cause the finish to darken, permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear." So, it appears they already know there's an issue and they're too cheap to use something else. Another interesting instruction from them is you're supposed to store it in it's box. Doesn't that kind of defeat the "slim easy to store" claim and also make it less convenient to access. They don't show that in their videos, so why do they include that in their instructions? Maybe because the material is so cheap or fragile, it needs protection? All I want is a toaster that toasts. Years ago I had one and it lasted for many, many years. Now I can't even fine one that works, let alone lasts.
